The Wanderer, 6" - Mixed media painting of a Roseate Spoonbill.
Spoonbill are known to be found in the eastern south, but lately these wading birds have been found all the way north in states like Michigan and Maine. Last year, one of these birds made Gilbert, Arizona it's new home. For all it's recent traveling, I'd say this bird is winning the award of being a nomad.
This painting is a mixed media painting on canvas. Colors vary from screen to screen but the dominant colors in this panting are shades of pink and turquoise.
