The Store's Frequently Asked Questions:
What currency are these prices in?
If I am not traveling, I live in the United States. Therefore, all prices on this website are in USD.
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping is available through UPS, FedEx, or USPS - or if I'm traveling, the local equivalent of USPS (Canada Post, etc). My choice will depend on the size, weight, and schedule.
For paintings on canvas, the shipping rates can range dramatically depending on the size and weight. Smaller paintings and works on paper, will ship first class and the cost depends on size and shape as well. The shopping cart will automatically add a flat rate shipping cost based on total price, or size. These shipping costs are complete estimates and may be higher than it actually costs, but it includes the costs for packing and any extra required insurance to ensure the work arrives safely. For all domestic shipping, the flat rate price you pay at checkout is the final cost, even if it ends up being more. To save on shipping, feel free to contact me before you order so we can find the best deal and I'll change the shipping price for you.
For international shipping, some taxes etc. may require you to pay an additional shipping cost then what the estimate at checkout. If this is the case, I will let you know at the time of order. However, please feel free to contact me prior to ordering by email, and I will find out the cheapest, quickest rate for your location.
For large paintings and international orders, please contact me for an accurate shipping rate before you order, if you feel the flat rate shipping price is too high. The default shipping rate for international orders and large works is based on the cost of shipping and packing it in a wooden crate.

Do you ship outside the USA?
Yes. Shipping rates for Australia, Canada & England are available when you checkout. These rates are based on an average cost, and may be higher than the actual cost. Before you order, please feel free to email me for an accurate shipping rate which may be cheaper.
For other countries, shipping will depend on your location. If you are interested in a certain painting, and live outside these countries, please feel free to email me, and we can determine the shipping cost based on your location.

Is tax included?
For locations where sales tax is required, sales tax is included with the price of the work.
Can I pick up my painting instead of paying shipping?
Absolutely. If you are located near me (Sedona/Phoenix, Arizona), feel free to pick up the painting in person at one of my various shows or studios. Or we can get together for coffee. Just email me for a free shipping coupon and make a note on your order to arrange a pick up date and time.
I would like to pay using paypal, is that possible?
Sure. You can check out with your credit card, paypal or apple pay. If you are based in the United States, and want to use Zelle or Venmo, that works too. Just email me and let me know.
This painting looks blue, is it blue?
Colors vary from screen to screen. The colors on my screen are accurate to the colors of the paintings. If you would like more photographs or are able to see it in person, please feel free to email me before ordering.
Is this painting really that big?
Every work of art has the accurate size listed in inches. Some of the items for sale have the painting seen in a "living room," the actual size of the work in that set up may not be the accurate size due to the stock mockup, etc. If you would like an accurate scale of the painting against a recognizable object, please feel free to email me. Or if you would like to see what it looks like in your living room, send me a photo, and dimensions of the area you want to hang it in, and I can make a mockup.
I don't want an original, can I just have a print?
At this time, most of my work is only available in original format. Selected works of art are available as prints or on tote bags, pillows, etc. in the store, at society6.com, redbubble or Fineartamerica. If there is a certain painting you would like as a print (or as a different size than the original,) please feel free to request it.
Is this archival? Light fast? Will my great - great - great - great grandkids be able to enjoy it?
I use light-fast, archival, acid free, etc professional grade materials. To the best of my knowledge, all work is archival, light fast, etc. For works on paper, I highly recommend getting them framed with acid free mats and UV protecting glass.
Does it come framed?
All work on canvas does not come framed, unless specified. However, all work on canvas comes with installed hanging wire, and the edges of the canvas are painted to blend in with the rest of the painting; if you would like to keep it unframed.
All work on paper is available unframed, unless otherwise noted. However, works on paper 8x10 inches and under, will most likely come with a mat to keep it flat during shipping. If you would like something framed, get in touch with me and I'll find out how much it will cost.

Do you do commissions?
Yes! I love making art for people. If there is a style of mine you like, but don't see the right painting or size, ask for a commission. Or if there is a painting you like and it's sold, and you would like a version - just ask! Though, I never outright copy an older painting for a commission, it will be slightly different... each original is unique.
Even if you want a painting in a style I haven't worked in for years, feel free to ask. I love to return to old 'muses.'
There are no size limits to commissions.
From my website, you can see I do a variety of styles - white paintings, abstract, colorful wildlife, traditional drawing, paintings on driftwood, button flowers, etc. - I'm happy to do a commission in any of these styles or of subjects that play off of these styles. I'm also willing to do commissions for subjects I don't normally do (people for example) because I love a challenge. But, if there is a subject/style that is not right for me (cities in impressionism for example,) I will let you know and help you find an artist who will make you an amazing work of art.
With commissions, you are a part of the process and I share with you each step of the way - from sketch to painting. The outcome is always a work of art made just for you (or the person you are giving it to.)
To start a commission, we set an agreed upon price (does not include shipping) and 50% is requested at the beginning.

Can I have one of your paintings on a box of Greeting Cards?
Yes! I have randomly chosen some of my art to be printed on greeting cards. If there's a painting you like that is not currently available, just let me know and I'll make it available. Unfortunately, it does take some time for greeting cards to print, so plan for 6-8 business days if you are going to use them right away.
