Pastel drawing of a white tailed deer. Encountered in the Adirondack forest, summer 2018.

This portrait is of a Deer eating some leaves, but her expression looks more goofy than a deer enjoying some lunch. She, like many of the deer in the Adirondacks, weren't so scared as long as the leaves were plentiful.

Pastel on toned gray paper. 8 inches tall by 10 inches wide. Available unframed.

Colors vary from screen to screen, this drawing is filled with hues of yellow and pink.
