Floor Mural at White Hills Gallery.
This floor mural was designed by me, and then painted by my assistant, Ryan Hudson and me. Completed in March 2012, for White Hills Gallery, Camp Verde, AZ. More Information here.
Sur la Plage: Yarn installation
Created for White Hills Gallery's "Contemporary Mosaic" exhibit. Used yarn and hooks to link the scene together in a mosaic fashion. March 2012.
Wine Barrel Obsession
April 2012. I hosted a community art event at White Hills Gallery, where we painted wine barrels with the community for The Horn Saloon.

May 2012. I was selected to participate in Cottonwood's Chamber of Commerce's community art project of painted wine barrels. Artists were selected to paint wine barrels as part of the Verde Valley Wine trail. See the whole trail and project here.

Verde Valley Leadership Art & Media Issue Day: Community Art project of a weaving wall.
I was invited to give a talk on art as an economical driver and lead the program in a community art project for class VII's art and media issue day. See the full story here.
"Class VII of Verde Valley Leadership held their Arts & Media Issue Day, hosted by class members Renee Bartlett-Webber and Chris Heyer on Friday, May 17.
The day was held at the new White Hills Gallery and soon to be Verde Portal, business incubator in Boler's Building in Camp Verde. Community artist and gallery director, Stephanie Peters, lead a tour of the new gallery. She then engaged the class in a community art project with mixed media and discussed the role of art as en economic driver in the Verde Valley. " -Verde Independent |
