European Rabbit.  Colored Pencil on black paper.
6 inches wide by 9 inches tall.

This little drawing is inspired by an European rabbit that I encountered on San Juan Island, in Washington. The rabbits there are not native and were introduced in the early 1900s when a failed domestic rabbit breeding company went out of businesses and decided to release them. The rabbits continued to survive and prosper, and today they can be found in American Camp on San Juan Island!
